UPDATE #1: After playing some more I can safely say that (so far) it's actually quite good. The story is ridiculous in a good way and I've had a great time seeing every new plot twist come into play. I'll keep updating the review as I go. My opinion of this game can (and probably will) change from what I'm feeling at the moment but after about 45 minutes with this game, I came out of it really enjoying the story so...

It's a neat concept that desperately wanted a better execution. Buy it on sale if at all. Art style feels a bit too deviantart for what the game is trying to do. The devs just revealed you cannot get all of the content without using a hidden mechanic they have declined to share, which just makes the whole thing feel a bit lazier. I hope the devs find a better balance in the future of matching idea with execution.
