You're going to bounce off of this like it's a brick wall at first. This game is initially so obtuse and vague about even the simplest of things such as what basic game settings even mean, much less parsing the visual noise and figuring out what you should even be focusing on or doing. Hellsinker is a very unorthodox video game. Enough so that those who have bounced from it may believe it is entirely nonsensical, malicious and misdirecting, contrived and pretentious. somehow one of the most accessible shmups ive had the pleasure to play, despite its complete obliqueness. willing to keep up a conversation with the player throughout. there is so much game in this game please sink in hell
