I want to write an initial review for those wondering whether to buy or not even though I am not done yet. So far I am really enjoying this. If you are a fan of military sci/fi this is worth getting imho. Because I am something of a military tactics/history buff I found myself making good choices for tactics in the game. A genuinely interesting moral quandary, do I do my best to complete my humanitarian mission in a colony that distrusts or outright hates everything I stand for, or do I help crush the rebel forces, and let someone else worry about distributing vaccines? I've finished my first playthrough, and I'll probably get another 3 or 4 out of it, which makes this pretty good value for money. The battle sections are pretty well...

"Choice of" games suddenly got worse. Specifically, Fog of War is a disappointment. It's short, it feels very much "on rails" and some roleplaying options leave you with very limited choices. If somebody made this game to sow how pointless the war is does a bang-up job of showing how pointless is to try and change anything in this scenario - even if and especially if you're honorable and try to do what people...

So, i've went through this once. My first Impression was "okay, nothing too insane on the amount of text we have to read" . Then there's the "Oh...Not many options", usually around 3-5 choices to pick through. The story seems engaging, there's romance (not like those romance novels you find in gas stations), and the characters are interesting enough to take notice they're..people too .
