In a sea of RPG Maker and Gamemaker JRPGs it can be hard to stand out. Enter Legends of Mathmatica, an interesting almost satirical take on the traditional SNES generation JRPG. If you don't like tongue-in-cheek references, dad jokes, and puns, you're in for a bad time. I do recommend you not take the storyline too seriously (see satire) but the mechanics are solid. Interesting RPG with puzzles and silly puns. The story is silly, the characters are charming, the art and animation are fun, and the puzzles are challenging. I do think it's a little easy to miss the 'tutorial' segments if you don't know what you're looking for, though maybe I just missed some cues. I tried out this game on Steam and from what I have played, this game is terrible. It has extremely DRY humor. Dryer than the James Bond's Martini. The percentages are WAY too confusing and the plot of this game is very very bad with the main character having to go after someone who he doesn't even know the name of.
