Masterfully crafted puzzle game that tells a compelling story through every facet from gameplay to gorgeous visuals and sound. Later parts, especially getting the true ending with bonus puzzles require a lot of control dexterity and timing, though. A masterpiece nonetheless!

Ugly is a powerful puzzle platformer game. It reminds me a lot of Braid, but with an even creepier and tragic story. The game uses a mirror mechanic, where you set up a glass shard and an immaterial "copy" of yourself is created, and you can switch back and forth to it if there is enough space. The game has interesting level-based mechanics that all come together in the last levels to deliver the true challenge. I...

The puzzles are all nice short challenges that make me crave more. The story is AMAZING and is best seen blind going in. The visuals are perfect, no flaws in sight. The music is nice and mostly somber, would love to have the soundtrack on hand. The game runs well and any bugs were likely just my low-end Laptop's fault. Overall a 10/10 game!
