Inukari - Fateful detour out now!

Greetings fellow critters, its me Kai creator of Inukari. I can't believe that I'm doing this again. But here we are. Born from a wish to make a tiny little DLC and some polishing for the main game. Fateful detour was created more and more to a stand alone experience. Its fascinating to work on a video game and see how it grows and get personality with every little detail. That's why my focus this time was on lil' cut scenes and smoother animations. On top of this. I wanna add these new animation for our hero into the origin game as soon as possible. So if you own chase of deception. You may take a look back and see what I will add for this, too. But hey lets celebrate! Just in time for Halloween we made it. The passionate Nakanoi_ did it again and add a massive awesome Soundtrack within 11 blasting hits! I'm very grateful and happy about the result.

I didn't enjoy the game, but I still liked the cutscenes and the animation on the character, so if you can work more on level design specifically, as well as improving the feel of the combat, it could drastically change how it feels. The main problem is that these stages are too big, flat, and repetitive - like a big box with sporadic platforming, so I don't get a good sense of level layout, it's just a lot of space...

Inukari - Fateful Detour is fun and short 2D Action Platformer and is the sequel of Inukari - Chase of Deception but this time your adventure is to go back to the forest. There are many big improvements from the 2nd game which I noticed immediately, including amazing hand drawn cutscenes before every boss fight. I’m liking the game but I will say the criticisms are valid. Some of the stages are too large, some of the enemies can be annoyingly placed, there’s a few leaps of faith… into instadeath pits. Despite those issues, I like it. It’s not gonna set the world on fire or anything but it has some nice pixel art and its movement has substantially improved from the last game (I played that on Switch so that may have had...
