I have fond memories of watching my dad play this when I was younger and always wanted to try it out myself. The reviews about the Ubicock launcher and inability to save the game made me hesitant at first, but I have had no issues in those regards so far. The only issue I have had is that performance unfortunately suffers because they seemingly lied about optimizing it for modern systems. Besides that? Its exactly...

Still holds up, even if you've already played newer Anno games. The old-fashioned mechanics (e.g. food being a single good, or only final production buildings needing roads) make for an interesting playthrough. I recommend playing the scenarios before the campaign, which is from a DLC.

This is the best game from HE series to play on a Steam Deck. 1404 is better as a game, but text is too small. Negatives: - ubi lies, there is no Russian localization - the Ubisoft connect is a cancer
