Deity Quest had my interest for a couple of reasons: I love RPGs, strategy, any game that allows me to be a god-like figure, and any game that revolves around having minions that will fight for you. This game takes the latter point a step farther, where you do none of the fighting (with the exception of optional spells you can upgrade later on in the game, though most spells are supportive to your minions). Deity Quest is a simple but solid recruit-followers-RPG that has a decent story and soundtrack. Battle system is automated and you just interject with spells and items to adjust the flow of battle. I don't know of many pokemon-styled games on PC, so I'm enjoying playing through this one.
