Announcing my next game - The Hambagu Shop (Demo Available Now!)

After The Boba Teashop, I’m excited to share my next cozy horror game: The Hambagu Shop. This is another horror experience where you work night shift at a Japanese Hamburg Restaurant. I decided to make another horror simulation game to build upon what I learned from The Boba Teashop. While I’m proud of that game, I feel it was a bit too linear and didn’t lean fully into the simulation aspect. There were no upgrades, no endless mode, and no way to spend money. So this time, I’m creating a new game that focuses more on the simulation experience, but also keeping the same narrative story style with eerie atmosphere. The game is still a work in progress, but there is a short demo available to download right away. If you enjoyed The Boba Teashop, you’ll definitely want to check The Hambagu Shop out.

Its a pretty interesting horror game that does its job very well, I wouldnt call it over the top scary, but the atmosphere really does make this a good experience. The gameplay, making Boba, isnt that engaging, but with the constant small scares that can happen it does keep you on your toes. A few hours of fun, just enough to tell an excellent ghost/corruption story. The drinks are pretty, pretty and they're fun to make. And while you're making them, expect to see changes in your shop as the dreadful atmosphere weights on your psyche. The creators did a masterful job with the LIGHTING in this game.
