The Tiniest Hidden Objects You'll Ever See (Or Not) Despite the terrible hidden object scenes, I played the game through to the end because I was intrigued by the history of not only the battles, but of the three main characters in the game storyline as well. The character storylines are quite good and very convincing, leading me to believe that these were real people who actually fought in the American Civil War....

Short version: 51% The Hidden Mysteries series has always felt a little outdated even at their release, and Civil War is no exception. If you enjoy really ancient hidden object game mechanics, you may like this one, but this is as far as its shelf value goes. Long version: Gunnar Games is hardly known for their outstanding games; they are more like the kind of studio that earns its wages with products just above...

The Civil War seems like an odd setting for a hidden object game, given that a mass bloodshed fought over slavery might be a little too grave a subject to broach in the genre of 'finding nonsense in a field'. Hidden Mysteries: Civil War does nothing to dispel this notion. Mostly because it is one of the worst offenders when it comes to randomly throwing nonsense all over a screen with no consideration of theme,...
