You know asset-flips, right? Games that just go to the Unity Store and get some free assets and make a game.
It's looked down upon quite a lot. This is the next level of an asset flip.
Most of these assets (even some for which you have to pay for) can be found for free in the Unity Asset store.
For example: "Old bridge" is the first asset I ever got from the Asset Store and put in my first game. I remember that...

good so far, but the prices on the packs are a bit much for me. (i think i could easly make like 95% of the stuff on this in blender) perhaps they will add a lot more to there packs, or drop the price.
i look forward to seeing what happens later on. this could turn out to be an extremely useful tool to independent developers

"Game-Ready Assets" is a collection of mediocre Unreal assets here on Steam. Why? Nobody knows.
Oh wait, the assets don't belong to the developer!
That's right. The developer STOLE a bunch of Unity assets, repackaged them, and tried to charge CASH MONEY for asset packs made up of OTHER PEOPLES ASSETS.
This is disgusting for-profit plagiarism... intellectual property theft.
That Valve allows, and even profits...
