I used to have one of the highest rated and most comprehensive reviews on Egress, but sadly the game has been completely and wholeheartedly abandoned for years by now. Changing the rating would just wipe the stats on this into obscurity, but I would not recommend even if it were free, and I'm not sure the servers even still exist. Promising Online Dm game based on meelee combal, hunt eachother down in fast paced action and slay eachother to pieces! Soulslike and BR games are both genres that are always adopted without problems by many gaming communities and combining this into 1 game can often make for great online scenes! Could be a really fun game but there's two really big problems: 1: The movement and combat animations feels slow and clunky and just off 2: There is basically no player-base, I think largely because of problem 1 above In a game like this, fluid combat is a deal-breaker for me, and arguably probably most people looking for a souls type game. Want to give it a thumbs up but it's just not there.
