NOLA is Burning

Weird as all hell, and kind of disappointing. It's like... Imagine watching a generic noir mafia movie set in the late 90's/early 2000's. After taking drugs. All of the drugs. It's like the most random crap is thrown at you constantly, while one has very little choie in the matter. One seems to die at the end of the game no matter what one does, and... Really, it's just a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

It's not BAD, but it didn't really feel like it had substance. Didn't fall in love with any of the characters, didn't care about the setting, didn't feel like my choices made a huge impact, esc. Overall it's a well written STORY but it shouldn't have been a choose your own adventure game. I don't really feel like I went on an adventure. Or chose anything.

Yeah this game felt like an acid trip. But an acid trip written by Ken Kesey so, you know, I had a good time. Probably not what you're looking for if you want a mafia/mobster/gangster game, but if you want a no-holds-barred adrenaline-fuelled thrill-ride with good grammar, spelling, and sentence structure, this'll do very nicely. And you won't have to do any paperwork afterwards.
