As a fan of both Tower Defense and Twin Stick Shooters, I had high hopes for this game. Unfortunately after less that a hour I feel like I have seen all the game has to offer and have zero motivation to play further. I originally purchased this game on the Nintendo Switch back in 2018 when I was 18, and after playing completely through the game it has been a classic of mine ever since. I loved it so much that when I saw a Steam sale recently I just had to do double dip to have it on my laptop as well. A very fun and enjoyable game that blends elements from other games to create something that is unique in the tower defense genre. If you are looking to wind down after a long day then this is a great game to do that with. It is fun but you do not have to over exert yourelf mentally. The game does need to be polished in one or two spots but overall it is worth the price and worth your time so sit back and enjoy!

Despite advertising itself as twin-stick shooter and base-builder hybrid, I want to stress that this is a tower defence game more than anything else. While you can certainly play it as a twin-stick, it's not really a long-term strategy that will allow you to reach the higher levels of the game.
