Mineko's Night Market Is a cute little game about resource gathering, crafting and building up a little town. Something mildly resembling animal crossing. It's neat, but my biggest problem is that there is no way to save other than by going to sleep, which forces the start of a new ingame day. Other things include not being able to use the D-pad to navigate menus, menu navigation and inventory management in general...

despite playing this game to completion i can't in good conscienceness recommend it to anyone, because it feels unfinished and unfair. the cosy vibes are absolutely there and the villagers and setup of the plot is adorable, but it's held back by bad overall design where you have to hope and pray rng is on your side for specific quests (sold items for npc relationship quests, fishing), or sleep past entire days to...

This game has a lot of potential to be really fun, but the grinding loop is so dull. You gather flowers for several days, then you grind towards being able to unlock other things but the day-to-day gameplay drags on. I gave it a solid shot for 4 hours and came to the conclusion that it just wasn't any fun.
