Invaders from Dimension X

I actually enjoyed this. Definitely has a strong boardgame feel with dice and random cards. Won the first scenario on normal without any difficulty, but I imagine it could be more difficult if the aliens were luckier with their card draws. In spite of the fact it has only two scenarios I'd expect them to play differently each time, although the novelty will probably wear off fairly quickly. Hopefully the harder mode...

After some research about solo board games (Spring 2020, confinement time), I discovered Tiny Battle Publishing and was pleasantly surprised to discover this digital adaption of one of their titles. This is a fun light solo wargame, with some original ideas (the way the aliens activate is interesting). The gameplay presents an interesting mix of randomness (the dice combat, the order of Alien Activation Events)...

Not sure on this one, basically played the first mission and trying to move to the other side of the map, but instead get surrounded by enemies who constantly stun your units, so you just sit there trying to roll 6's for every unit so you can actually do something else the next turn, only to have them stunned again on the enemy turn, repeat until you lose.
