Kao the Kangaroo: Round 2 (2003 re-release)

Good old Kao the Kangaroo from the PS2, good lord this brings nostalgia, but any idea why it crashes on steamdeck? Cant even complete the first level because it always crashes, please fix ittt, i need to finish it!

A nice chill platfomer of the ps2 genaration where collection is the aim the only problem is if you miss one item you will have to do the level again.

Salty review: I just don't really like it. It feels like a rip of Rayman 2 and Croc Legend of the Gobbos, except those are fun games. The controls don't feel good, it's janky, and I can't get past the flower boss on the first mission.

This game was missing a lot of what I liked about the first Kao the Kangaroo, and in the first game I enjoyed how everything in it reminded me of watching Game Maker's Toolkit videos and just noticing little things like, "Oh, this level requires the player to ledgegrab, which hasn't come up much before. Not bad for a game from 2003. Sure it's a bit rough around the edges, but the gameplay is enjoyable. Also, the game itself is rather short, but you could arguably call it a plus. If it was bigger - it would have become boring. But due to it's short duration - it manages to keep the player entertained and engaged throughout all of the game.
