Needs a sequel. Imagine what next gen could do for facial expressions Solid Story Great Graphics "for its time" Detective aspect of it is really nice (search for clues, question suspects and read their facial expressions, plus the daily beat)

I love this game and got it to go down memory lane. The rockstar launcher is a nightmare and makes the whole experience awful. Cant get it to work on steam deck or steam machine and is the only game in my library that loves to play whack a mole with which monitor it decides to boot on. Is this all fixable, probably. Is it worth the effort to give a game from 2011? nope.

Game lacks very basic controls for setting which monitor it displays on and at what resolution. Having to go into the game files to make edits as a workaround is just silly. Bummed because this was a favorite on console.

It's not like you could change the course of events based on your discoveries or choices, but it's the best railroaded narration ever. Can't not have fun with it. But beware that it is best approached as an interactive movie than a choice-based game. PS: My laptop is as bad as it looks, so, I'm naturally more than happy to have rediscovered and chosen to play this gem.

L.A. Noire is one of my favorite Rockstar games of all time, been playing it since the days it released on Playstation 3 as an exclusive. very fun interesting game, has a high replay value and is very unique for what it is even by todays standards, a wide variety of cases to solve between 5 desks Patrol, Traffic, Homicide, Vice and Arson, great authentic 1940s soundtrack with a beautiful depiction of L.A. back in the...

Paraphrasing Belethor from Skyrim: "Some may call this treasure. Me, I call this junk." Although the setting and the concept of the game seem quite interesting, everything in it falls short: from the plot, through the gameplay, to the technical aspects.

One of the most underrated masterpiece by Rockstar Games. This game was truly the pioneer in bringing MotionScan. The crime scenes are very accurate compared to the time it is set. Great characters and yes, always "Press x to doubt". 9.5/10 game. Happy detective : )
