theres some attempt to allow synergies but the game is easy without them and either its hard to make or not effective enough basically it doesn't have roguelike sauce the strongest thing is mostly speed or the funny buzz directional spells really it just seems like it could have been worked on more to make the game more interesting

x-- 8 / 10 --x Ridiculously addicitive. I'd argue that this is a lot hard than the Isaac games, but to the point where it could almost be unfair. Scale wise it's at least doable because there's only a fraction of the content to unlock.

This is one of those "wish there were a neutral option". Game itself is *fun* and the concept is great but there are many issues that make aspects of the game frustrating and slow. The spell system and the combat format is really cool too. I feel like a lot would have been fixed just by making the board bigger and having more moves per turn which would mitigate all the times you feel unable to do anything. Really...
