Very nostalgic and fun I finished this game as a kid...so I bought it to relive the experience....The gameplay is still as fun as I remember but somehow those 8hrs felt like 20hrs Still a great game tho...Loved it

The gameplay is mostly the same as the first game, but in my opinion Max Payne 2 is more fun. I wouldn't say it's as challenging, but the addition of physics makes the whole experience way better. From each individual item falling from shelves to enemy ragdolls being pushed away in mid-air from the gun fire, all of it being in slow motion, is just awesome. More peak. It's impressive how big of a leap Max Payne 2 is from the first in its gameplay, animations, reactivity. Fantastic game, does require a widescreen fix.

It is the sequel to the highly acclaimed Max Payne. It is an improvement in a lot of areas such as the gunfights, physics as well as ai behaviour. The story features many plot twists as well as the reveal of an unlikely villain from the first game(no spoilers included). All in all a great sequel that i would highly recommend if you enjoy noir style games with bullet time and frantic combat.
