Well, after experiencing the awful garbage that were: 2015: buggy handling and very stupid Gold medal requirements that have ruined the completionist journey of what is actually not too bad of a game. The plot's irrelevant but the characters were barely less cringier than Payback's. No multiplier on some drift events is a crime, considering this game decides big pointage drifting = almost losing control everytime...

EA will not allow me to play this game without having an EA account even though I bought the game on Steam. I was not aware of that at the time of purchase. I will be refunding my other EA games as well. I'm not gonna have 2 online accounts to play an offline game. Never had this problem back when I played this on PS4. This is extremely anti consumer and I will never even consider buying anything from EA again.

great fun, banging soundtrack, absolutely gorgeous free-roaming world. lot of fun to tune up cars and visually decorate them. easy enough to earn money to upgrade cars or buy new ones so it doesn't get too grind-y. the mix of on-road and off-road racing is great, although I would have loved more opportunities for the latter given how well the map feels designed for off-roading. an incredibly fun arcade-y racing...

EA making you install and log into their store with an email to play it is unforgivable. You don't need my email for me to play a game. The racing is fun. Car modification so far feels a bit like your not sure if it makes any difference?
