Whateverland was released almost a year ago while this free, prologue version has been out for 3 years. Perfect way to familiarise yourself with the gameplay before purchasing the full game! The story is about Vincent, a thief, who is caught red-handed and is sent to a strange world. Overall, you play for 20-30 minutes and in this prologue chapter your job will be to get someone out of his... prison, so to speak....

This game introduction episode, imo, is charming and witty. Being a free Prologue, this is obviously a short enticement for the full game. Def an interesting concept. I'm curious how the good/bad traits play out in the full game. I'm not totally sure if i'll buy the full game. It will depend on the price and what else I have going.

When I initially played this prologue in May 2021 and wrote a draft review, I was not going to recommend this primarily due to the bugged achievements. I intermittently tried every few months to check if they were fixed, but there were no updates for a long time. This is what caused me to have a playtime of 3 hours. That's a really short prologue. It's more like an interactive advertisment, The sound is way too loud in places and the main character sounds bored and uninterested. If these issues are fixed, I'd play it.
