Very enjoyable few hours, lore was neat, gun sounds was good, jump sessions are horrible, soldiers sound is way too loud and scientist are too slow. Great times. Simpler times.

It’s a decent addition to the Half-Life universe, but honestly it doesn’t add much gameplay-wise. It’s not bad...it’s just fine as more content. Play it if you’re curious, but it could’ve been much more. But hey, you play as Barney, and that counts for something. Maybe Opposing Force set the standard too high.

Definitely the weakest out of the three half-life 1s, but i'd say it's still worth checking out, just think of it as a bonus mini-campaign for the original.

Side content for the original Half-Life. This time you are playing as a security officer for the Black Mesa facilities, and your main objective is to escape the mess happening while protecting your fellow coworkers. It really does feel like a secondary arc of the events we all already know with no implications on the main story and very little intersection between them. There's less content, no new and even fewer...
