Some people are talking about translation being bad, I was with the eng one and found no mistakes or sentences that were out of place, but I don't know about other langs so... It's good but the mechanics keep snowballing (story mode) and it became kind of a mush. Like selling and all is alright, but then you have to report people for avarice and it's so vague...and then you have to deal with fixies and their network....

Overall fun, though I think more specific feedback for when the player makes a mistake is necessary Because what do you mean this bag that I appraised as 1600v is "not a knockoff, but not worth the full price." the customer wants to get it for 16v????? It just becomes a gamble when buying expensive things because I never know what I got wrong and just keep making mistakes without knowing what the mistakes are.

This game is a real gem once you get past its rough edges. Some of the translations aren’t perfect and a few mechanics aren’t fully explained, so a little of the original intent feels lost along the way. That said, revisiting in 2026, the translation is noticeably better than it was around the time of the initial release when I had originally picked this up. I remember rather liking the game the first time playing it but after playing other games of this style No Umbrellas Allowed just feels very janky sometimes, the most annoying part is not being able to reappraise items even after customers pointed out the appraisal is flawed, makes it hard to set proper prices, same goes with items you get for free, you are not able to appraise it all sounds kinda stupid.

Fun game but sure wish there were clearer instructions in the game. Luckily there are good guides online. Also please please have a pop up confirmation when you click quit. I keep thinking that's the close menu button 😩

i really wanted to positively review this game because the mechanics and gameplay are extremely fun and i will likely play a lot of it. but, it has some issues that are just too frustrating to ignore. the english translation is very bad. there are misspellings and a lot of the sentences just don't make sense. the dialogue is hard to get immersed in because it's so stilted. a lot of instructions in the game aren't...

I love it, if you like papers please, chances are you're gonna enjoy this game! don't be dumb like me and set all your prices to the appraisal price or you're gonna have a bad time lol this game got me sucked in immediately and I still cant stop playing after almost 2 full days, it scratches a very specific itch
