It's missing some essential features, like being able to deconstruct your base. Apparently that feature is locked behind a password-protected beta branch from 2023. This game shouldn't have made it into early access like this. I'll refund this.

I honestly love this game, it's just unfortunate that the devs can only push out more updates on a volunteer basis due to them running out of funds.. It's not finished, but it is playable and it is fun with friends, but it's very much in a sad shape. I hope to one day see them finish this game, don't treat the devs too hard they tried their best but ambition =/=...

I liked this game and really thought it had a great base for a great game. I think the problem with it is the fact that it is very unfinished. If you dig down to the bottom you will find very little besides ore and rock. There is a boss base and fight in the first world but just the one. I made a rocket and traveled to the second planet and found it pretty empty as well. It looks to me like they had a very big plan...

Seems to be dead unfortunately, the idea was pretty cool but so far no updates for 3 years, don't waste your money, buy something else

Feels more like a proof of concept than a game. The world is extremely flat literally and metaphorically. It gestures at the idea that there's more out there than there really is, and what does exist is very finicky. It looks pretty and sounds pretty, at least. And I like that there are achievements for killing your colony members.

Warning: The store page outright lies to the customer. There is no galaxy to explore at all. There are a total of two (2) planets. The starting planet and one additional one. Also the game is very much in an early access state. Bugs, balancing issues and missing content that is advertised on the store page. I wanted to support the devs but as I see now, they outright lie to our faces. Sorry guys, but you lost me.

I want to preface my recommendation with a warning: be aware that the developers simply ran out of money to continue updating farworld pioneers fulltime. They are now and have been working on the game on a "volunteer basis." That could mean anything. Farworld Pioneers has a lot of potential, but unfortunately, it feels unfinished. The developer seems to have abandoned the project, and even the official Discord has gone quiet. Rumors suggest that the real issue might be with the publisher, TinyBuild, as there are claims that the developers are stuck in a restrictive contract.
