It's almost impressive how bad this game is, it somehow managed to get the worst parts of 1 and 2 and turn it up to 11, spongy enemies, projectile spam, encounters that last way too long, story is now some random terrorist ♥♥♥♥, color grading is awful, everything is way too grey. What the hell happened during development?

Can't lie, this is the best of the Ninja Gaiden Trilogy in terms of the evolution of the combat. You can't just resort to Ultimate Technique spam for every single fight, You gotta get good and learn when to use it. Steel on Bone is a great implementation as well. Fair warning, if you're going for the higher difficulties BRACE YOURSELF! You'll need patience and a high tolerance for sudden deaths and restarts. Save...

A true patriot will tell you its better than most trash talkers said about Razor's Edge. But a true ninja believe its the best of the three games included in this master collection.

if you're struggling at any point in this game, especially the final boss, then you're kind of just garbage because it's fairly easy if you're competent enough to actually understand the game's mechanics. it's a great game, highly recommend it

So, I've played the entire series... and I gotta say, out of all of them this one is just terribly coded all around. None of the greatness of the others is present here, while the combat seems to feel great upon first feel, the coding of the game itself negates it entirely. Attacks will completely phase through enemies entirely while they are standing still, no animation paired to them at all. Had this game been made...

I think I liked the previous entries more, specifically 2. This one has some changes that I like and do not like. I think this one is a one and done for me.
