As the only active speedrunner of the original Neon Struct this was right up my alley. It's a very different game to Neon Struct and a much smaller game in comparison, but a great effort for a free game jam game and it's heaps of fun once you get enough upgrades.

A speedrunner/platformer isn't how I expected a follow-up to Neon Struct to look, but it honestly fit the universe really well. It keeps the same basic movement features from Neon Struct, but gives them a bit of an upgrade with higher jumps and long leaps that makes it feel appropriately platformer-esque. Great little game, didn't quite finish it yet but thus far, it's good. Amazing aesthetic and a good sense of speed, slide jumping around the levels is surprisingly fun. I was a big fan of the previous Neon Struct game (which was more like a slow paced Deus Ex/Thief stealth game with the same aesthetic) so I appreciate that the developer is still interested in that aesthetic/franchise. Took me about an hour to finish. I wouldn't at all be surprised if there's a hidden ending somewhere in there, the hidden tapes I was finding probably mean something, but idk if I got them all. It's a fun speedrunning game for sure. For a free game this is a lot of fun. It's quite fun trying to find the optimum paths through a level trying to get from checkpoint to checkpoint before your energy runs out. Well worth a try, given how much it costs.

A fun little game. 2-3 hours to beat. I confess I was a little frustrated with the running gameplay-loop until I learned how to "bunny hop" (the crazy jumps that appear on the trailer).

Ignore the trailer, it doesn't do the game much justice. I recommend this game to people that enjoy delivery quests in games where you have to go from one side of a map to another side but via a mystery path, if that makes sense. You can buy ability upgrades as you find coins in random places. Add more tags to your game so it can get more recognition.
