The game has been updated to the latest available patch version 4.13.4. If you prefer the older version 4.12.2 for some reason, you can revert to it (go to the Betas tab in the Steam properties of the game and select version 4_12_2 in the drop-down list).

Really good game for its time and it could be a warthunder competitor if this was more well known, Pros: alot of really unique aircrafts that i didnt even know were real, decent damage, can run on anything Cons, some bombers are locked like the b-29, crash-landings have weird physics, setting it up just to work on windows 11 was a pain in the ass, overall its a really solid game 8.5/10

This game is excellent despite the many illiterate and idiotic reviewers who claim that this game does not work on Windows 11. While it may be true that this game does not launch immediately after downloading, the fix is one simple Google search away. Remember, this game is almost 20 years old. As for the gameplay, its great but you definitely should buy a HOTAS setup before you try and play. Also, I recommend...

I don't understand why people bother with War Blunder when this game exists, sure the graphics and game are kind of dated but you can get this game for dirt cheap and install a modpack and now you have hundreds and hundreds of hours of quality WWII content.

Old Is Gold The first thing that surprised me is how immensely satisfying the flying and physics still feel, especially considering how old this game is. The aircraft have weight, momentum, and character. Flying feels like you're actually controlling a machine rather than just moving a camera around the sky. the ai is great and makes it well worth it. if your having trouble getting this to work on windows 11 then download the B.A.T mod and launch it from that folder. i have windows 11 and i cant launch it from steam but it works fine when launched from the modded/BAT folder.

This game will not work for my computer at all. tried every single thing. i was super excited for this game too. im not sure if its my gpu not being compatible or something. just be aware when you get this game that it could not work.
