TF Visualizer - Development Update
2026-04-02Hey everyone, After a long time with no update, I wanted to share that TF Visualizer is officially back in development! This has always been a passion project that I’ve worked on in my free time, alongside my studies and work. Over the past few years, I’ve been focused on university, which meant I didn’t have the time or focus on this project. However, over the last year, I’ve been shifting my priorities and gradually getting back into the project, and I’m now more motivated than ever to keep working on it. I’ve already been working on it again for quite some time, and I’m excited to say that this next update is shaping up to be a big one, with lots of improvements. What’s coming? The two big things that are coming are a customer visualizer editor, where you can make visualizers yourself with a lot of freedom, and workshop support, where you can share and download visualizers.

Here is already a screenshot from the new editor: This is still in progress and not final, but most of the backend already works and most of the new systems are already in place. I am now working on the menu that lets you browse and download visualizers. When? I don’t want to promise an exact date yet. Realistically, I’m aiming for somewhere this summer or toward the end of the year. Since I’m working on this in my free time, progress can be a bit unpredictable. Please give input! I love to hear from you: • What features would you like to see? • What should be changed? • Which mode do you use (fullscreen or small picture mode) Feel free to drop your thoughts in the comments! I will try my best to keep up to date with the questions and comments from now on, but I'm still busy, so I can not see how fast I will reply. I’m aware that connecting to Spotify isn’t working at the moment. This is due to changes in Spotify’s authentication system. I’ve already fixed this in the next update, but I can’t easily integrate it into the current version of the visualizer because the version I’m working on now isn’t finished yet. So unfortunately you have to wait a bit longer for this to work again. Thanks for your support, I’m excited to be back working on TF Visualizer and can’t wait to share more with you soon!
