Sabre Team was my one of the first strategy games of my childhood and I wished there was a remake. If you like original Ufo enemy unknown (tactical missions type of game play) than you should give a go. Old school classic.

I give it 7/10. I like it more because its a bit of an inspiration. I feel someone could greatly improve upon this excellent formula. The gameplay could use a lot of polish, the difficulty is a bit high due to the poor polish. But the art and concepts are great. I especially love the art.

Sabre Team, the DOS version, is inferior to the AMIGA version in every way, to the point where I am unsure as to why contemporary consumers were only given the obsolete option. With that said, this version does not allow contact with terrorists if they are not in the same room as the player's units, or just outside of the door, yet the enemy AI does not have any issue taking long shots at one's units from across...
