The Mac version of DESOLATIUM: PROLOGUE is already available! So Mac people can already enjoy the game. About Vive, we are working on it, but it is taking us time because the version of the graphics engine we use (Unreal Engine) is giving us problems. Still, we hope to have it ready asap! good game apart from the 4 glitchy achievements they are still obtainable it just takes several playthroughs !!!

Firstly, I only played the non-VR version. I've completed the "original" Prologue and only briefly checked the "updated" version (got as far as the cemetery). It is not quite what Kickstater promised. Kickstarter promises "Full Immersion" and "hyper-realistic graphics", but the Prologue does not reflect that. Developers took nice 360 images, but then they have tried replacing the sky and looks like they took images...

Nothing to see here, unless you have absolutely nothing to do, there are better ways to spend 15 minutes then playing this demo (and the credits were longer than the actual gameplay) It is cool that the developer at least made it both non-VR and VR, but they were also actually charging money for this at one point, I get that this was done to fund and hype for main game, but it didn't really leave me excited for the...

I was lured in with the promise of Lovecraftian mysteries, but was severely disappointed. I've seen some bad point and click games, but this one takes the cake. The voice acting is horrible, the stock images are.. cringe. I do not recommend it at all.

This is what we used to call a "pixel hunt" style adventure game. Basically mouse over the entire screen until your cursor changes and click to find the object you need, complete the puzzle, or advance to the next scene. This is a very atmospheric point and click adventure. I had doubts as to how seamlessly the photographs would integrate into the "landscape" and digital skies, but everything is very smooth and feeds into a healthy suspension of disbelief.
