A keeper for sure, especially if you love the "Aether verse" lore, and that slammin' soundtrack, especially the battle songs!

Dungeons of Aether is surprisingly more engaging than I had anticipated. Combat is not complicated but the nature of turn based selection gives way to a rather interesting and deeper strategy than expected. really addicting turnbased rpg. the combat is very simple, but the stat draft system kinda adds some mindgames to it and the four characters all play wildly differently from each other which helps to add some variety, I think. it's also a fairly short game, so it doesn't overstay its welcome. music bangs. fleet is cute i love her

Why didn't this game support Keyboard+Mouse to play? I don't know, it was strange, but it does support controller perfectly which is good. The gameplay itself is good, the harder difficulties suck though such as hard mode when you fight against bosses because they can adjust dice while you adjust your dice too instead of just locking in their choice which is unfair considering bosses can have higher stats, and...

An okay idea, just not executed very well. I found it fun for at least a few hours, but beyond that point all that you're doing is just spending an annoying amount of time cycling through turns so that eventually the opponent's ai makes a dumb mistake and you can manage to safely get a single hit in. Great game! Very slick art, simple but unique and clever mechanics, challenging, decent variety among the characters. Short and sweet. Definitely recommend!
