This game has the sauce. It's art is indulgent, the mechanics are indulgent, it puts just enough stress on the player to force them to keep trying new things while still having plenty of 'give' so that you can take it all at your own pace. After Atlus, this is my beau ideal for a DRPG. You can tell which characters they wanted you to use because they give them the best skills in the game.

Really fun turn-based RPG similar to dungeon crawlers of old. I understand that the fact that it's very light on story might be a turn off for many, but for me it's the simplicity of this game that made me love it. The gameplay is pretty cool and the equipment variety makes you always want to try some other weapon and improve on your tactics. Overall pretty fun for what it is.
