So, a year ago I started a pretty serious fitness journey, and I hate cardio. I ended up getting a Nvidia Shield on my tv in the garage, to run my PC remote, and put my exercise bike out there with the TV. Now each day I have played a crap load of this while mindlessly biking for 1-2 hours each day. The game has become part of my fitness journey, made cardio suck less keeping myself distracted and turned gaming into...

I gave a potato six weapons. It died. So I gave another potato six weapons. It also died. I now understand game design.

So Brotato is a game all about nuance, you might look at the cleaver and think it's not super interesting, what makes it different than the kinfe? Well the cleaver scales with your health, it gains base damage half off of melee and partially off of your max HP. The knife has a base 20% chance to crit and is cheap as hell, it is practical to rush down higher end knives which get better and better base crit and crit...

A highly addictive game. What starts as a 30-minute session often turns into several hours of play. The balance is well designed, and there are plenty of characters to choose from. Some of them force you to rethink the usual approach to character builds, which adds welcome variety to the gameplay. Definitely worth playing.

My first introduction into rougelike games and I'm loving it! The music is lit, too.

This game is a masterpiece, what should I do when I need something to stimulate even my most deepest parts? Load up Brotato, go no items and run around in a circle the entire time. Kelvin Karmacharya loved it.

Brotato is a game that answers the question nobody asked: “What if a potato had six weapons and an absolutely unreasonable amount of violence to commit?” The answer is apparently one of the most addictive roguelites I've ever played. The concept is simple. You're a potato. You have weapons. Thousands of enemies want you dead. Your job is to survive increasingly ridiculous waves of enemies while turning...

Brotato was a good game that anyone could enjoy and beat on the former hardest difficulty with a little luck and some perseverance, it used to be a lot of fun. Since the former devs turned it over to the new team and they started tweaking and adding things it has become a game that is nearly impossible to complete on the highest difficulty without retries (which used to not be a thing) or changing settings (also...

Given the option, I would've left a neutral review, although I was on the verge of leaving a negative one more than once. I'll give only one advice: before buying the game, ask yourself if you like gambling and whether you're good at it or not. Because, despite solid, dynamic and straightforward fun survivors-like action, leveling up relies on pure randomness too heavily (the shop is literally a slot machine), which...
