Despite being a true classic, this game is very difficult to enjoy today, as it has undeniably aged quite a lot. If you are a big fan of the genre, it is certainly worth giving it a try, but for me personally, it was a rather challenging experience, especially considering that I have also played all the old Splinter Cell games. I wish I can leave a mixed review but it is what it is this game did not age well the planning system does not work for me the athena sword expansion does not work for me mission 9 is broken as hell I stopped playing at that point the side modes are fun though overall this game is still better than rainbow six siege I like men

One of if not the best tactical shooter and rainbow six game by miles. The mechanics and gameplay loop of RS3 is absolutely foundational for the modern tactical shooter of this kind- Games like Ready or Not, Ground Branch, Operator etc. all owe RS3 for establishing (and in a lot of cases even exceeding) many of the gameplay mechanics that make those games what they are.
