The game is terribly ported from consoles because you are forced to play in 30 fps with a vsync, so there is a very noticable input lag. It was worse than playing via streaming through geforce now or something similar. I was not able to accept that from a game in 2025, so I looked online and I managed to fix it with some modding! 1. My guy got dragged into a fight with a demon and all he wanted was to find his donkey who was carrying gold so he can buy women, drinks and thick carpet. 10/10 game, hits harder than it did when i was 8 years old playing this and not understanding ♥♥♥♥. Awesome parkour and combat mechanics. I love it.

After the incredible Sands of Time trilogy, Prince of Persia (2008) feels like a pretty disappointing reboot. I recommend this game with BIG caveat. DON'T BUY this if you want an experience similar to the original trilogy. This reboot is different in it's approach to the combat, platforming and what is considered "game over".
