I was going to replay this game after a few years, only to find out that my Steam copy has been downgraded, since a "patch" now requires installing and logging into the Rockstar Games Launcher. Rockstar: GO ♥♥♥♥ YOURSELVES!

This is be the greatest third person shooter I have ever played, everyone should play this game at least twice if they're even slightly interested in shooters.

Fifth Playthrough of Max Payne 3, but still can't get over the nostalgic feeling brought to me by James McCaffrey’s peerless, razor sharp voice performance; dive dodge; bullet time spray and most importantly that HEALTH's scorching industrial soundtrack. The entire trilogy is 10 on 10.

Max Payne Dog Days: A fanfic by the actual company who brought you the TRUE MAX PAYNE. I tried, so hard, to like this game but this is downright a bad game. From terrible writing to what feels like a constant need for forced cutscenes to poor level design, this game has it all. Lemme break it down: The elephant in the room, forced cutscenes. All. The. back when MP3 got released, i wasn't a big fan of it, because of the graphical changes and modern style. to this day i prefer MP1&2, but now i appreciate MP3 way more and even have a lot of fun playing it. maybe because the modern gaming industry sucks, or maybe... nah the first one is it, for sure. i mean you start the game, you hear james mcCaffrey and you feel right at home. (rest easy legend) the game works fine...

A game filled with just pure testosterone. Best shooting and bullet time. Highly recommened. Graphics arent bad either, expect it to look like gta5.

Max Payne 3 is a dark, cinematic and incredibly stylish shooter with heavy, brutal combat and some of the best gunplay in the genre. The story feels like a fitting end to Max’s journey, even if its tone differs from the earlier games. Frequent cutscenes and strict linearity can be a bit much, but the overall experience remains powerful and memorable.

There is no other game with better shooting mechanics than Max Payne 3. Combine them with fluid movement that allows you to slow down time, dive and jump, and you've got a recipe for a shooter unlike any other. Not to mention the fantastic euphoria ragdolls and Rockstar's game engine. Shooting bad guys has never, ever, felt so rewarding. There is barely anything to complain about with this game.
