Of Orcs And Men

I thought the combat was horrific but the story carried the game massively, I couldn't stop playing it, loved the world and the characters. Just stick the game on easy if you aren't willing to do a massive deep dive in the combat system (like me), if you're a Styx fan it's well worth it IMO.

I really liked this game, in spite of all the negative reviews, the combat system wasn't that bad, I actually found it to be a really cool and unique mechanic. However... why is the only saveable point before the final boss also before 2 filler fights and 3 unskippable cutscenes? I understand not wanting players to skip the final moments, but couldn't you add an autosave at the start of the end boss?

Shocked this is one of the most highly praised Spiders games on here, stunned Bound by Flames gets the "edgy dialogue" criticism and this doesn't. Of Orcs and Men is a low quality linear RPG that is ambitious yet very flawed. Inverting the typical dark fantasy tropes on their head, the best compliment I can give this game is that it has you play as an Orc and a Goblin fighting against an evil human empire that's subjugating its people rather than the other way around.
