Awesome game. Needs a community patch to run well (and not crash) on modern hardware but honestly so worth it. Some people say the game starts well and drops off hard, I think they couldn't be more wrong. Environments are well crafted, storytelling is great and the action is serviceable, fun even. I really like the quite unique player damage + healing system, its a nice touch. Special mention of course to the sanity...

To start, it's a broken pos. I don't know why steam continues to sell this game in the state that it is. The only community made patch doesn't help due to its dead links and steam's programming. The game hard crashes from Alt-tabbing and trying to skip the intro videos. When you do this, it leaves you staring into a black nothingness void that could only be comparable to looking into the rear end of Cthulhu himself....

Don't let the "1 hour on record fool you"; I played this on CD when it released. It's dated, yes, but still a good game. Recommend this if you're a fan of Lovecraftian games.

This is one of the best H.P Lovecraft games for any fan of his work. Lore, story, and atmosphere are all there. The in-game sanity feature is a nice touch, making you adapt the approach to situations. Great game!

Don't get the steam verison, its super buggy, and will crash a lot. Its so bad that the game is almost impossible to finish without outside fixes. But still a great game set in the Cthulhu mythos.

I really wanted to like this game as I love these old early 2000's games and Cthulhu. But the crashing and glitching is unforgivable.

an extremely buggy game but i love the atmosphere and the music. also the story is good. sadly this game wasnt finished and its almost unplayable in its current state. don't get me wrong, i love the game, but i just can't recommend it to anyone to play

Game is unwinnable. I can't escape the destruction of the temple right after defeating Mother Hydra, the tunnel leading to the portal alays collapse on me no matter how fast I am. Huge disappoinment
