Very dated game but I actually love the bump combat! The only problem that I had with this game is the navigation. I literally would have no idea where to go and had to look up guides but super well worth it.

Pretty lovely duo of games, I can see why they bundled them together. The first one was bit more hit and miss. You can grind to the max level in the first area and buy all the best equipment, and you can breeze through the whole thing very easily, except for the very annoying final boss. Very simple, short but fun game. The origins of the this underrated franchise. The final boss on the other hand, one of (if not THE) worst bosses I've ever had to experience in gaming. Enemy movement seems to be tied to frame rate, so if you play at 144hz, they are gonna be way faster than they should, so limit it to 60hz on the game settings.

Its ok for a game of its age but the final boss is just unfun i cant even imagine how hard it would be on nightmare i gave up even after i found out lowering my fps from 144 to 60 makes it easier(possible) but i dont want to grind attempts when its just not fun to fight.

the music was great and the combat was satisfying but i coulden't get the silver sword cause the game is broken & can't play the tree or harmonica cutscene and plays static instead so i quit im not even going to play ys 2 im uninstalling these games
