Runs fairly "okay" on Windows 11, aside from stuttering every time the mouse is moved. Doesn't seem to happen on Linux thru Proton, however (EndeavourOS).

Yosumin! has a lot of things going for it, like the audio design, but it fails in the most important part of a puzzle game: gameplay. Yosumin!'s gameplay is simple and repetitive. Another simple puzzle game where you have to make rectangle using tiles of the same color as a corners. Each stage you gonna be met with different goals, like creating small sets, big sets, chain of same color and such. It's rather short, repetitive but somewhat fun. Presentation is also super cute so yeah. Controls are laggy and that's the main con. I still like the game though. Very slight recommendation for puzzle...

Summary: Yosumin is a cute-styled casual puzzler made by Square Enix. Big name in game development would deserve a way better game but Yosumin just feels like a casual Popcap game, where all their fun and entertainment disappeared into cute budget. You will hear "Yay!" "Woo!" but you won't feel like that. You will just make another rectangle, then another and then another. It's not fun. It's not motivating enough...

A fun and addicting little puzzle game. It's not particularly difficult but it can challenge your ability to recognize patterns. The gameplay is simple: make squares/rectangles where all 4 corners are the same color blocks to clear them and gain points. If you're looking for a simple pick up and play puzzle game akin to bejeweled this might be a good pick for you.

As a lover of puzzle games, I picked up Yosumin long ago. I was surprised to see Square Enix's name on the title but figured I give it a try. What I discovered is an okay puzzler that needs a lil more polish. Before the game even starts, one of the first problems is that you cannot adjust the resolution of this game. You either go fullscreen or a small window. I know the game is old, but even just 1 or 2 different...

Good game for puzzle game lovers. It has the same basic concept as most other puzzle games (making matches), but it's got a unique take on match-making. You have to find rectangular patterns on the game board. It's not a game that you'll blow through in an hour, so it's worth it at its regular price. The music is peppy and upbeat, and I haven't gotten sick of it, so that says something good. The graphics are bright...

I don't think I can recommend Yosumin! unfortunately despite the fact that it has some nice aspects. The puzzle gameplay is quite simple and straightforward, and lacks in depth, which makes the difficulty curve poor, and therefore, the game shifts between laughably easy to annoyingly difficult, especially at the last levels. In addition to that, it becomes very repetitive without the feeling of possibly outsmarting...
