Wow what an experience to finish i'm so glad I finally decided to give this top tier VN a shot and it was enjoyable the entire way thru. I finished the saber route one of the most popular visual novels for a reason. The prologue is a bit boring and the explanations are a bit of drag to read through but the pay off is worth it.

For the first few hours Tohsaka RIn is the protagonist and this is a great VN. After that Emiya Shirou takes over for the rest of the game and it becomes a decent VN. Like c'mon, the devs themselves literally disable his voice acting with the default settings, that's how little faith they have in his character. Still worth it for the Rin route tho.

im lowk procrastinating the steam release since i've played through the original realta nua years ago, but this is my 2nd ever VN (after Tsukihime) and it holds up, it really goes in depth about the lore in case the anime is confusing. im a sucker for the old type-moon art style and the HD images are just BEAUTIFUL.
