This is a very solid game. Fun time killer. Scratches an itch. 8/10. However, I wish the game reports generated more info for future games and helping you make decisions on the sliders in a more impactful way. I should be able to "learn" from failures or "mid" games and have it impact future games in more impactful ways. We should be able to design game case covers as well, that would be cool and have it effect...

Used to play this to kill time between classes in college. A great way to chuckle to yourself or get some funny reviews to send to your buddies about your funny name or idea. Underneath the surface, a pretty good sim that makes spending your time on it feel worthwhile. Has some difficulty while you're learning the ropes but rather easy to get ahold of with some time invested. Went for the 100% and the game does have...

Game Dev Tycoon hits that perfect mix of nostalgia and business management. Building up your studio, experimenting with different game ideas, and watching everything grow is incredibly satisfying. It’s such a chill and fun game, with a really addictive gameplay loop that keeps pulling you back in. Easily one of my favorite tycoon games ever!

Basically a clicker game with an optional spreadsheet (find out what combinations of game genres work with each other). No depth at all... but still surprisingly fun! My standards are very low for clicker games.

One of the best tycoon games I've ever played. Can put hours and hours into it just making the most outlandish titles and game types possible all while build your studio. Highly recommend.
