This expansion is not a representative of what King Arthur: The Roleplaying Wargame 1 or 2 is like. The only thing that is accurately represented would be the choose-your-own-adventure style visual novel which are pretty spot on. with the choices you make directly influencing the units you will have in the battle at end. If you liked the original King Arthur, you'll probably like this. If you didn't, there still may be some differences you may enjoy. Fallen Champions is a linear expansion to the original King Arhur in which you take control of 3 different heroes and their armies and follow their stories in what is essentially a story-based prequel to the events of King Arthur 2. BUYER BEWARE! Please do not buy this title. It is rigged with crashes, glitches, Runtime Errors, and bugs. I played the first portion of the campaign (Sir Lionel) and it crashed on the last mission. Restarted it, finished it. Went to the next campaign... start glitching with color flickering, couldn't control units, odd things that should not have happened compared to the RPG version of King Arthur. I'm not sure...

Keep on crashing with runtime error during loading screens after the battle and since you can't save the battle, have to replay the whole scenario every time it crashes. So far no fixes to be found on the net or in the discussions.

Pretty disappointing attempt at a traditional RPG using the King Arthur: the Roleplaying Wargame as a source. The original game and all its expansions are fantastic, but this standalone has such terrible gameplay that it's essentially unplayable. Don't buy it unless you're getting it automatically as part of a King Arthur bundle--in which case, play all of the others and don't even install this one.

Controls are bad, units don't respond well, and there are bugs (e.g. control points won't capture when there is no enemy. I love the original. This one isn't as good.

I just cant besides it not aging well. Also the run time errors are annoying and the game is not worth spending the time to play

Doesn`t even run and the support for the game is ZERO, steam redirects to paradox and the page that supposed to give you support doesn`t work anymore
