From the looks of the trailer it seemed as if it had potential at the least.
I imagined a stage by stage levelling system with a certain amount of levels in each stage, increasingly getting harder as you progressed. I can't quite place what exactly it is, but there is something immensely dislikeable about Perfection.
Maybe it's the lack of any foreseeable goal, leaving you endlessly cutting through random shapes for no other reason than to get to the next one. Without and end game, scoring system, or any other tool with which to gauge progression it makes me feel like my time is being wasted, abused as if I'm some sort of...

If Zen Bound were in 2D and randomly generated, this is probably what you'd get. An endless procession of shapes wanting to be sliced down to fit a puzzle-piece shape in as few moves as possible for "perfection". Has a couple of alternate modes involving scaling and rotation too.
Very soothing, but probably not to everyone's tastes.
