My favourite NFS game :) It's the most intense racing game I've ever played, the sound design is great, and the visual effects are unmatched, especially the blur effect that you see when you're going fast. The driving is a bit weird with a keyboard but you get used to it, I feel it's a decent mix of arcade and simulation.

This game is one of my all time favorite racing games. Unfortunately, EA will be damned for removing it from the Steam store. EA, stop being a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ greedy low-skill company and do something about your services and products.

While playing this I was asking myself who Shift was even made for. It isn’t like we didn’t have or had any other choices when it came to track racing games and Need for Speed is known and played for its street racing, it just seemed like a strange choice. Playing this game in 2020. Still better than Payback, Heat and other sh**ty NFS games, that've been released in the past 5 years. EA should just bring back classic NFS U1/U2/MW on Steam and every1 will be satisfied...

A note in advance: I love NFS Shift, I think it's a fab example of a "sim-cade" racing game. However, Shift 2 Unleashed has quite literally all of the content from the first game and improves upon most of it in some way or another, -especially- the career mode.
