I cannot recommend this game with all my heart because of its difficulty spike is close to impossible but if you have enough time on your hands and like to be published then go ahead. The difficulty curve is more like a brick wall. There is minimal guidance on what to do, how to do it, or what you CAN even do. The tutorial is virtually useless. On top of that, the user interface is downright terrible, even considering it's a 20 year old game. And the English is incomprehensible. A lot of people commented on the nostalgia factor of this game, but I just don't see it. It's just plain not good.

good strategy game for a 2004 buy if you want can wait for sale. i buy because replay i played one but pros not many complicated rules to play i like it decent graphic (for 2004) many units many missions good story cons its unplayable in certain mission difficulty is bad(even in easy mode) no cheat mode some some side units die easily(dogs and rats) not mechanical don't know how to get mechanical units level cap is...

I just can't. Maybe if the resolution options wouldn't be 4:3. Maybe if the controls were not so clunky. Overall a very unpleasent experience, and I have a feeling that the story isn't that great either. I love the nostalgia, but that alone doesn't carry it for me.
