This is when X truly became X. Buy it, put about 150 hours into XBTF, then XT, then X2, read all the books, then open up x3, finish all the dlc, everyting, then move onto rebirth for something a little different, not terrible, just not like the previous games. Excellent follow-up to the first game. However, this is more of a game for fans of Egosoft's X-series. For newbies, I recommend looking at X2, or one of the X3 titles.
