Ok I guess. Artworks are nice, story a bit like a fairy tale for kids. Music and sounds, nothing to complain. HOG elements mostly easy and you can just spam click until finding correct item. Game should take 6-8 hours to complete. Often those type of games have some redeeming values like artworks, story and music but this one is mostly skippable. Still on the edge of recommendation - 6/10.

Cheesy storyline here; nonetheless, another romp through a colorful world of puzzles, collectible items to be used and monsters to be slain. Not very good hidden object searches, as they were on the blurry side. A meh rating on this game for me.

Wow, I wasn't expecting this kind of beauty in display and quality in gameplay when I got Nearwood - a FROG, or fragmented object game - in a bundle some time ago. I was bored and looking for a "snack" game, which I'd be able to play with minimum mental capacity. This game is a series of puzzles ranging from simple to MENSA level mind breakingly challenging. With such excellent visuals no puzzle gaming fan should be dissuaded by this. There is a guide to help if you get stuck, or just skip the puzzle. This is a real hidden gem, and I'm glad I was asked to play it, or I wouldn't have discovered it. Nearwood has everything you need in a hidden object game: a good story, a beautiful soundtrack, and gorgeous artwork. The story is about Jane, whose mother died mysteriously, and then his father disappeared. I must admit, this is my first Hidden Object / Adventure Game I've ever played, so I really have nothing to compare my experience with it.
