This is a great classic however the negative reviews on Steam are founded. This is the abbreviated version that will rob you of the full detail of what the developers intended. The GOG version is the full version. Steam needs to upload the full version.

Reiterating that this isn't the original version of the game - it's been watered down and rendered pretty much unplayable without following a walkthrough, as the gameplay is jumbled and event triggers are unclear. You'll find yourself tracking down tiny prerequisites you missed a lot. I'd really like to reccomend this game - But the problems it has and the cut scenes / frames of animation missing make this game tough to play on the PC. This is not the original disk version of the game that was released by other publishers instead it's been optimized for tablets and ported over to the PC. The mouse controls run too fast and there is no way to adjust this. The way you advance through some scenes...

Terrible, absolutely terrible. Never buy this game. The origional game was fantastic, I love it. This, however, is trash, complete trash. Pros: If I can think of any I'll put them here later... Cons: They took away the animated characters. Now they just sit there... Lifeless. Text bubbles that RUIN the any kinda of realism the game had left. Simplified puzzles from what the origional had. These are so dumbed down...

Do a favor for yourself and play the DVD version if possible or buy the originals in GOG. A lot, not few, but a lot of the dialogues are cut and shortened, some fmvs are absent, and no animations in this IOS port. Lazy work.

GOG has the original version of the game, steam has the mobile port, that being said i have less problems with this game than i do with the second one, no repeating audio along with some nice visual upgrades that keep the old video game aesthetic so i do enjoy it, just don't buy the steam version if this game seems interesting to you

This is not an original version of the game. There are missing some scenes and puzzles, the controls are totally different. It is like a mobile version or something and this point the game is a trash on steam. Go to buy an original version somewhere else....

While this game started off promising as far as the look goes, I had a very hard time playing it. These games were known for being puzzle games. Well, they've removed the puzzles from this version. That means you're going along playing when suddenly you hit a snag because you have a feeling you're supposed to do something to progress. Except the thing you're supposed to do has been removed or - worse - half removed....

STRIKE THREE AND YOU ARE OUT!!! FIrst it was The Last Sanctuary, THEN RESURRECTION. AND NOW THE PATH OF THE DRAGON... People complain about constant help and cut content, but the controls are also fairly awkward most likely from being an mobile port. Drag and drop is a terrible way to view a scene.
